In this paper, we introduce a new, previously unknown, distance (i.e., a new metric) in a set whose elements are some other (any) finite sets. It is proved that with such a metric the set under consideration is a metric space. A direct relationship is established between this distance and the Hamming distance: it is exactly two times smaller than the Hamming distance and it is much easier to calculate it. As an application, the set of natural numbers is considered as a discrete metric space with a new metric introduced, and a new metric criterion for the simplicity of a natural number is established. This is the first metric criterion for the simplicity of a natural number in the history of mathematics.

The technological process of oil deodorization is considered the last process in the technological system of oil production. This process is carried out by driving liquids at high temperatures and under deep vacuum. The deodorization process is carried out in the industry in continuous methods. Calculation of the technological process carried out in these methods and its equipment is one of the complex issues awaiting solution. The authors have developed a computer model of the process of continuous deodorization of oil, and from this model, a method has been developed to accurately calculate it and to calculate the concentration of light volatile substances in the oil and gas phases during the process, and how much they pass from one phase to another over time. Based on the obtained results, it was possible to determine the optimal parameters of the oil deodorization process and it was proved that it was possible to determine the dimensions of the apparatus for its implementation.

The authors performed a histomorphological analysis of 20 mice which were fed in laboratory condition in the period from 2022-2023. During the research normal histomorphology of normal tail mouse skin was observed and compared with the normal skin of human. The results of the study showed that there are some differences in the shape and thickness of epidermis layer and the amount of sweat glands. Although huge differences were observed during the research, some similarity in overall morphology (layers, blood vessels) and sebaceous glands were recorded.

The applied scheme and technological procedures depend on the type of ore being processed, the composition of copper minerals, their state and susceptibility to leaching, the presence of primary sludges and soluble salts, as well as the nature of mixed rocks.       In copper-pyrite deposits, sulphide minerals are found in the form of chalcopyrite, chalcosine, bornite and pyrite, their total amount is 3-4%, where the relative share of pyrite is much larger than other sulphides. In the oxidation zone, these sulfides preserve malachite, azurite, brochantite, chrysocolla, and other oxidized copper minerals. 10-15% of the total amount of oxidized copper deposits are sulphide, 10-15% to 50-75% are mixed, and 50-75% are oxide ores. Sulphide ores are more industrially important, as they make up 90-95% of this type of ore reserves.

In the work, the kinetic laws of the process of obtaining nanocarbon and hydrogen from the propane-butane fraction were studied under differential reactor conditions.
