Abstract

Leadership competence is a crucial attribute for individuals seeking to navigate the complexities of higher education and beyond. This scientific article investigates the theoretical foundations of leadership competence in higher education students in Uzbekistan. Additionally, the study investigates the impact of academic experiences, extracurricular activities, and mentorship on the development of this essential attribute. The findings provide a solid foundation for educators, policymakers, and student leaders to foster the development of leadership competence within Uzbekistan’s higher education system.
