Career guidance for the younger generation has always been a priority of our state policy. The role of our children's parents, educational institutions, teachers, and practicing psychologists is of great importance in carrying out this process. This article provides information on existing problems in properly guiding students towards a profession, as well as on the motivations behind students' career choices.
