OF THE PRINCIPAL LEXEMA IN UZBEK AND TURKISH LANGUAGES

Somatisms are nouns that literally mean human or animal body parts . The term "somatism" used in linguistics for the names of human body parts was first used by the scientist F. Bakk, who studied Estonian phraseology. He expressed the opinion that "somatisms belong to one of the oldest layers of phraseology and constitute the most used part of the vocabulary of any language" [FOVakk 1964 ] . And D. Bazarova conducted a number of scientific researches devoted to the comparison of somatisms of Turkic languages. AM Kochevatkin's " Somaticheskaya lexicon c dialect Erzyanskogo yazyka ”, AV Prozhilov's “ Somaticheskie cost human i ix Yazykovaya ontology c sovremennom German yazyke ”, Timea Chete's “ Somaticheskie phraseology c russkom i Hungarian somatisms were analyzed in various aspects in his scientific work " yazykax ".
