This article explores the role of terminology studies in enhancing translator training and professional competence within higher education. The study reviews current methodological approaches, pedagogical strategies, and technological tools that integrate terminology into translation curricula, emphasizing collaborative learning, assessment models, and ethical considerations. By analyzing recent innovations in teaching and research, the article proposes a comprehensive framework for embedding terminology studies into translator training programmes. It argues that this integration strengthens domain-specific expertise, fosters continuous professional development, and ensures the relevance of translation education in a rapidly evolving academic and professional landscape.
