Environmental problems have become one of the most serious global concerns of the 21st century. Rapid industrialization, population growth, deforestation, climate change, pollution, and the overuse of natural resources have caused severe damage to the Earth’s ecosystems. These challenges threaten not only nature but also human health, economic stability, and future generations. This article examines major worldwide environmental challenges, their causes and consequences, and highlights the urgent need for sustainable environmental solutions. It also discusses the role of governments, international organizations, communities, and individuals in protecting the environment and ensuring sustainable development.
