Abstract

The article focuses on the use of innovative teaching methods in teaching the Russian language to students in higher education. The authors argue that traditional teaching methods may not be effective in engaging and motivating students to learn a foreign language, especially one as complex as Russian. They explore various innovative teaching methods, including using technology such as social media and mobile apps, gamification, and project-based learning. The authors provide examples of how these methods have been successfully used in Russian language teaching, such as using social media platforms like Instagram and YouTube to promote language learning and cultural immersion.
