This article describes the role and importance of parents during the socio-psychological adaptation of a child to preschool education. In addition, it is discussed what other family members should take into account during the period of adaptation of the child to this new environment. A number of tips and systematic recommendations on how to carry out the stages of adaptation in order to facilitate the child's adaptation have been given.
