This article analyzes the current state of procedures and criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of judges in the Republic of Uzbekistan and the relevance of their improvement. It examines proposals for enhancing the procedures and criteria for evaluating judges' performance, drawing on the experience of foreign countries in evaluating employee effectiveness.
