Abstract

This article examines and compares the concepts of "creativity" and "creative thinking" in the context of modern higher education, identifies their main characteristics and main functions. A comparative comparison of these concepts allows us to conclude that it is impractical to completely identify them. Special attention is paid to the issue of creative education, its role, purpose and objectives are determined. In addition, the author explains the importance of the transition from the traditional educational paradigm to an innovative educational paradigm that meets modern requirements imposed by international standards of higher education.
