Abstract

Embryonic development represents a complex and highly regulated biological process governed by a set of universal principles. These general laws include cellular differentiation, morphogenesis, growth, and genetic regulation, which together ensure the transformation of a single fertilized cell into a multicellular organism. This article analyzes the fundamental patterns of embryonic development, focusing on the role of gene expression, cell signaling pathways, and environmental factors in shaping embryogenesis. Special attention is given to the stages of cleavage, gastrulation, and organogenesis, as well as to the interaction between genetic programs and external influences. Understanding these general principles is essential for advances in developmental biology, medical embryology, and regenerative medicine.
