Modern microbiology and biotechnology are among the fastest-growing fields of medicine. Through microbiology, pathogenic microorganisms are identified, their mechanisms of development are studied, and effective diagnostic and therapeutic approaches are developed. Biotechnology plays a crucial role in the creation of next-generation vaccines, antibiotic production, gene therapy, and the development of biopharmaceuticals. This article highlights the theoretical and practical significance of microbiology and biotechnology in medicine, focusing on their applications in diagnostics, treatment, and future perspectives. Research demonstrates that these sciences provide opportunities not only in combating infectious diseases but also in oncology, endocrinology, and immunology. The article serves as an important theoretical and methodological resource for healthcare professionals.
