The article studied the unique experiences of territorial development of industries through the establishment and support of small industrial zones. Based on the development experiments of alternative forms of small industrial zones in the USA, European countries, China and Russia, an attempt was made to determine the directions of sustainable development of small industrial zones in Uzbekistan.
