This article analyzes the essence, institutional foundations, and practical effectiveness of governance and coordination mechanisms within the framework of cooperation between the public and private sectors. Special attention is given to the mutual coordination of powers, responsibilities, and interests among state bodies, private business entities, and other stakeholders in public-private partnership relations. The role of decision-making, resource allocation, risk management, information exchange, monitoring, and control mechanisms in the cooperation process is also examined. The study highlights problems related to ensuring a balance of interests between the public and private sectors, increasing the transparency and accountability of governance, and strengthening the socio-economic effectiveness of joint projects. Scientific and practical proposals are put forward for improving institutional coordination, utilizing digital governance tools, and enhancing principles of mutual responsibility for the effective organization of public-private cooperation.
