Abstract

This article analyzes the development of information competence of prospective primary school teachers as a pedagogical problem. The study highlights the role of modern information and communication technologies (ICT) in the educational process, as well as methods to improve teachers’ information literacy and professional skills. Furthermore, the theoretical and practical foundations of forming information competence in the pedagogical process, existing challenges, solutions, and best practices are considered. The article is aimed at enhancing the quality of education through the development of information competence among primary school teachers.
