The article comprehensively analyzes the issues of ensuring the safety of participants in criminal proceedings. In the article, the author conducted a comparative legal analysis of international legal acts, the security of participants in the process provided for by the current legislation and by-laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan. In the article, the author scientifically analyzes the improvement of ensuring the safety of participants in criminal proceedings, the fact that the legislation does not provide for ensuring the safety of individual persons who are participants in criminal proceedings, and develops proposals and recommendations aimed at improving legislation.
