This in the article synonyms emotional-expressive features highlighted. In particular, the importance of synonyms in poetry in enhancing the content through stylistic coloring is analyzed. The examples given based on the poems of Maqsud Shaikhzoda illuminate the emotional impact of synonyms, their influence on the rhythm and tone of the text, and their differences in stylistic layers. The article reveals the poet's skill in enriching thought, avoiding repetition, and creating imagery through synonyms.
