The above subsystem of indicators of living standards occupies a special place in the general system of indicators of socio-economic statistics, since many of them are used for general characteristics of the state of the economy, when conducting international comparisons of the levels of economic development of various countries, as well as for the development of social policy of the state and determining priority areas of social support for individual groups of the population.
