This article analyzes the role and importance of the spiritual and moral environment in ensuring the sustainable development of society in the current globalization processes from a socio-philosophical perspective. The specific features of the free civil society being built in Uzbekistan are compared with Western models, and its basis on spiritual and moral priority is justified.
