This article is devoted to a scientific and theoretical analysis of the activities of staffing internal affairs bodies. The article examines the theoretical foundations of the processes of personnel selection, training, and advanced training. Practical mechanisms aimed at forming personnel policy in internal affairs bodies, developing the professional competencies of employees, and increasing the effectiveness of their activities are analyzed. Proposals will also be developed based on existing problems in personnel provision, modern requirements, and foreign experience. The article is aimed at revealing scientific approaches that serve to improve the staffing of the activities of internal affairs bodies.
