Abstract
This article analyzes the important role of the institution of the presidency in ensuring state sovereignty and national security in the Republic of Uzbekistan and is devoted to the issues of protecting it from information threats, in particular, from false information, insults and slander on social networks. In addition, the experience, legislative framework, technological infrastructure, and monitoring systems of the USA, Russia, China, and European countries in this area will be analyzed.
