The concept and significance of plea agreements, their socio-legal necessity, historical development, and some practical issues related to sentencing are discussed, with proposals and recommendations provided. To reliably ensure citizens' rights and freedoms, the essence of sentencing for crimes with plea agreements is clarified, opinions on some practical issues are expressed, and proposals are developed.
