THE ROLE OF ORNAMENTS IN THE MODERN INTERIOR AND THE PRINCIPLES OF IMPLEMENTATION

Abstract
This article discusses aspects related to the role and use of national ornaments in modern interiors. Principles of composition of national ornaments, explores the meaning of such principles as balance, proportion and rhythm. Based on the analysis of samples created by foreign and domestic experts, it was revealed that it is acceptable to use ornaments in the architectural environment, both as a decorative element and for various functions.
