IMPOVING WRITING SKILLS IN TEACHING ENGLISH LANGUAGE

Abstract

This article explores effective strategies to improve writing skills in English language teaching. It emphasizes the importance of creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students can develop their writing abilities. The article highlights the significance of authentic writing tasks, process writing, vocabulary development, grammar instruction, and critical thinking skills. It also discusses the value of incorporating technology tools, peer collaboration, and independent writing projects. Additionally, the article emphasizes the need for reflection, goal-setting, and celebrating students' writing achievements. By implementing these strategies, educators can guide students towards becoming proficient and confident writers in the English language.
