This article provides information on the identification and analysis of anxiety- phobic disorders observed in irritable bowel syndrome, on the effectiveness of providing psychotherapeutic and psychopharmacotherapeutic assistance for them. The importance of psychotherapeutic assistance in irritable bowel syndrome and the achievement of the desired result in the short term are noted.
