Внебольничная пневмония (ВП) представляет собой острое воспалительное заболевание легких, возникающее у лиц вне медицинских учреждений. Эта форма пневмонии стала объектом повышенного внимания медицинского сообщества в связи с распространением устойчивых к антибиотикам штаммов возбудителей и изменением критериев диагностики. Актуальные проблемы ВП включают определение этиологии, выбор оптимального лечения, адекватное использование антимикробных препаратов, а также предупреждение и контроль распространения инфекций. В данной теме рассматриваются современные аспекты этиологии, диагностики, лечения и профилактики внебольничной пневмонии с учетом актуальных клинических рекомендаций и новейших исследований.
