This article examines the independence and immunity of judges from the perspective of international legal standards. It analyzes the principles outlined in legal instruments adopted by the UN, the Council of Europe, the European Union, and other international organizations. Key guarantees such as judicial autonomy, professional immunity, administrative and institutional safeguards are explored. The article also draws on international best practices to identify challenges in judicial activity and proposes practical solutions to address them.
