Ushbu maqolada dorivor o‘simliklarning tibbiyot va farmatsevtika sohasidagi o‘rni, ularning lotincha nomlanish tizimi, hamda asosiy rod va tur vakillari yoritilgan. Shuningdek, dorivor o‘simliklardan olinadigan biologik faol moddalarning farmakologik ahamiyati tahlil qilingan. Maqola lotin tili fanining tibbiyot bilan uzviy bog‘liqligini ko‘rsatadi.
