Abstract

The mineralogical and petrographic composition of Takhtagoracha manganese mine and minerals covering them are shown in the article. Primary and oxidized secondary types of manganese ores have been determined, analyzing the data found in the existing literature, and additional information on the conditions of formation of the previously mentioned ore is provided based on the color-spectral analysis of minerals. Based on them, a conclusion was made about the genesis of the mine.
