Оценка состояния пациентов в отделениях интенсивной терапии и реанимации является краеугольным камнем современной медицины критических состояний. От точности этой оценки зависят тактика лечения, прогноз исхода и распределение ресурсов здравоохранения. Однако существующие системы оценки, несмотря на их широкое применение, имеют ряд существенных ограничений, что обуславливает необходимость разработки новых, более совершенных инструментов.
