Distal symmetrical sensory motor diabetic polyneuropathy is one of the most common complications of diabetes and is one of the main causes of disability in patients with diabetes mellitus. According to epidemiological studies, depending on the verification methods used, the incidence of diabetic polyneuropathy in diabetes varies from 5% to 100%.
