Успех эндодонтического лечения во многом определяется качеством дезинфекции системы корневых каналов. Сложное анатомическое строение каналов, наличие боковых ответвлений и дентинных канальцев создают благоприятные условия для сохранения патогенной микрофлоры даже после тщательной механической обработки. В связи с этим особое значение приобретает применение современных ирригационных растворов, обеспечивающих очищение и дезинфекцию корневых каналов. В статье рассмотрены основные виды ирригантов, их свойства, механизмы действия и значение в современной эндодонтической практике.
