Mazkur maqolada korrupsiyaning jamiyat taraqqiyotiga ko‘rsatadigan salbiy ta’siri har tomonlama tahlil qilinadi. Xususan, korrupsiyaning barqaror rivojlanish maqsadlariga to‘sqinlik qilishi, iqtisodiy yo‘qotishlarga olib kelishi, ijtimoiy tengsizlikni kuchaytirishi hamda siyosiy institutlarning zaiflashuviga sabab bo‘lishi yoritib beriladi. Shuningdek, korrupsiyaning ta’lim, sog‘liqni saqlash, adliya tizimi va atrof-muhitga ta’siri misollar asosida ochib beriladi. Maqolada korrupsiya oqibatida yuzaga keladigan adolatsizlik, ishonchsizlik va huquqiy beqarorlik muammolari tahlil qilinib, unga qarshi kurashning dolzarbligi asoslab beriladi.
