Abstract
This article provides an in-depth analysis of Talgo high-speed passenger trains, focusing on their innovative design features and advanced safety systems. It explores key aspects such as the articulated design, low center of gravity, passive tilting system, and lightweight materials that contribute to the performance and efficiency of Talgo trains. The article also examines technological advancements like Automatic Train Control (ATC), Positive Train Control (PTC), and predictive maintenance systems. Additionally, it highlights the implementation and effectiveness of these safety measures through case studies from Spain, Saudi Arabia, and the United States, and discusses future directions and challenges for Talgo in the high-speed rail industry.
