LINGUOCULTURAL AND SEMANTIC ANALYSIS OF THANKSGIVING DAY LEXEMES IN ENGLISH NATION

Abstract

This article higlights main lexical units used in people’s daily usage during the holiday Thanksgiving in England. Actually, all semantic and lexical phrases will be analyzed by dividing them into three categories: general, food-related and idiomatic expressions. Each category will be explained with reasonable examples.
