Ushbu maqolada onkologik kasalliklarning molekulyar-hujayraviy asoslari, xususan sog'lom hujayraning nazoratdan chiqib, saraton hujayrasiga aylanish jarayoni tahlil qilinadi. Hujayra sikli, apoptoz, onkogenlar va o'sma-supressor genlar tushunchalari yoritilib, ushbu nazorat mexanizmlarining buzilishi qanday qilib to'qima darajasida nazoratsiz o'sish va metastaz jarayoniga olib kelishi izohlanadi.
