The article examines the application of SWOT analysis as a tool for teaching situational assessment and evidence-based planning in military education. Based on an analysis of methodological sources, stages are proposed for differentiating internal and external factors, identifying priority problems, and translating analysis results into practical actions. Using a conditional scenario regarding field training preparation, the activity of trainees and the criteria for its evaluation are revealed. The practical significance of the work lies in demonstrating the correlation between completing a SWOT matrix and substantiating a decision.Downloads
