Particular attention is paid to the expansion of mediation beyond traditional dispute resolution, the development of digital mediation, the growing importance of international commercial mediation and the institutionalization of mediation in Uzbekistan. The study identifies the principal factors that may influence the future development of mediation, including legislative support, professional training, public awareness, technological development and the formation of a mediation culture. The prospects for strengthening mediation as a mechanism for dialogue, reconciliation and coordination of interests are substantiated.
