Ushbu maqolada farmatsevtik tahlilda spektrofotometrik usullarning nazariy va amaliy ahamiyati, dori vositalarining sifatini baholashdagi o‘rni hamda zamonaviy farmatsevtik laboratoriyalarda qo‘llanilish imkoniyatlari yoritilgan. Spektrofotometriya moddalarning elektromagnit nurlanishni yutish xususiyatlariga asoslangan instrumental tahlil usuli bo‘lib, dori moddalarini identifikatsiyalash, ularning miqdorini aniqlash, tozalik darajasini baholash va tayyor dori shakllarining sifat ko‘rsatkichlarini nazorat qilishda keng qo‘llaniladi. Maqolada ultrabinafsha va ko‘rinadigan sohalardagi spektrofotometrik tahlilning asosiy prinsiplari, Buger–Lambert–Ber qonuni, optik zichlik va yorug‘lik o‘tkazuvchanligi tushunchalari, kalibrlash usullari hamda tahlil natijalarining aniqligiga ta’sir qiluvchi omillar haqida ma’lumot berilgan. Shuningdek, spektrofotometriyaning tabletkalar, kapsulalar, eritmalar, inyeksiya preparatlari va boshqa farmatsevtik shakllarni tahlil qilishdagi amaliy imkoniyatlari ko‘rib chiqilgan. Ushbu usulning tezkorligi, yuqori sezgirligi, nisbatan kam miqdordagi namuna talab qilishi va avtomatlashtirish imkoniyati uning farmatsevtik sifat nazoratidagi ahamiyatini yanada oshiradi.
