This article analyzes the role and significance of music theory in the modern education system from a scientific and pedagogical perspective. The possibilities of music theory in developing students' musical literacy, aesthetic taste, creative thinking, and musical perception are highlighted. It also examines the effectiveness of using innovative pedagogical technologies, interactive methods, and digital educational tools in teaching music theory. The article also provides recommendations for improving music theory in accordance with modern educational requirements.
