Abstract

This article focuses on the procedure and conditions for implementing victimological prevention in penitentiary institutions. The paper provides a scientific analysis of the fundamental concepts of victimology, victimological risk factors in the penitentiary system, and measures aimed at their prevention. It highlights the importance of victimological prevention in the social rehabilitation of prisoners, prevention of violence within institutions, and ensuring public safety. To develop this field in Uzbekistan, the article recommends utilizing scientific research, legislative reforms, and international experience. The study aims to enhance the effectiveness of the penitentiary system and facilitate the social reintegration of prisoners.
