Abstract

This article focuses on the application of the upper bound method for analyzing the process of extrusion stamping a conical flange. The authors emphasize that mathematical models are a key tool for optimizing complex manufacturing operations, such as extrusion, which require a deep understanding of material flows, stresses, and forces.
